Applicationsnokia5800 ,a web site reports the availability for the product code RM-356 of Xpress Music 5800 today.Keep in touch for more updates in the changelog
Prefer staying with Custom FW from PNHT.org. A ported FW of the C6-00 v.11.0.209. Better performance than 5800v51, more free RAM/NAND. This CFW comes with homescreen widgets, kinetics, stable, smooth with decent battery life. As for texting…definitely upgrade to FREE Nokia beta SWYPE. Set Opera Mobile 10.1 as default browser. Put Opera Mini on homescreen for routine use. Other key apps for setup: Pixlepipe, Tunewiki, Skype, Nimbuzz, Vlingo Plus, JB Taskman, Joikuspot Premium, Wefi, Gravity, Socially, Qik, Nokia Internet Radio. Still enjoying my 5800XM with this setup.

Better to stick with official version of the Firmware always, the third party softaware may casue your phone stop working !

Hi all,
I have install this last firmware update on my phone.
Now, my battery life time is worst than ever… it is divided now by two. From 4 days, it’s now less than 2 days. I’m really disappointed.

Hi Fred !, Have you checked if the Wi-Fi connectivity is on always now ? , Back light time ,notification light settings all are minimal ? ,Finally just do a soft reset ,as Others don’t have the same problem like you with this version ! Good Luck !

It’s been days now since I got the firmware update, and not once was I able to go to the internet. I’m able to connect to WLANs but when I start browsing, i get an “invalid server name” message. I tried using the OVI store to see if it’s the browser that had a problem but I couldn’t do that too. I tried this on a public hotspot.
I’ll know for sure on monday if the phone really has a problem. If I won’t be able to connect to the internet using the school WLAN on monday, then the phone definitely has a problem.

I guess ,your problem is with your public hot spot ,not with the phone !

No, I don’t think so. Before the update, I was able to surf the net just fine.
