How to Organize Photos on N97 & Mini with Tags
Overview.
This article will give you the basic steps to make your N97/N97 Mini’s galleries more decent and organize. If you hate your gallery because it’s messy, and if you want to make it accomodating for others and for your selves then maybe it’s time to tweaks some multimedia features on your phone. Exactly we will focus on manipulating the tags on your photos. I’m sure this is also applicable to some Nokia devices as well as other Symbian devices, likely, the Symbian^1.
Highlights.
These are the easy steps and I have included a video below.
- You can basically tags photos directly right from your Captured, Albums, Months, and Downloads sections in your gallery.
- In the gallery of your captured photos you can either select 1 photo or multiple photos. Note* You can also tag videos but it won’t be played during the slide show.
- Selecting multiple photos either single photo is applicable. Just tap the check button for multiple selections then proceed on adding the tag by tapping the options.
- Create new tags or select multiple tags from the previous one that you’ve created.
- After tagging photos, you can directly view your tags in the Tags section where you will see all tag names that you’ve created. The greater the number of media files that have a particular, the larger the tag name is. There are options available for you to manipulate or change the way the the tags appear.

- Name – view tagged files by alphabetical order.
- Popularity – view tagged files with the most used one first.
- Rename – renaming the tags.
- Slide Show – playing media files per tag. Slightly tap on any tags you want to play in the slide show. You can also edit the settings of your slide show by adding a specific song on the slide show or setup your own settings.
6. Now if you want to organize media files on that particular tag, you can do it on your tag section (hard tap on a tag). Then you will be able to see only those media files that belongs to that tag and feel free to share, edit, and organize again your media files.

So maybe u can help me, why cant i MOVE a photo out of the captured album or downloaded album into another album? I kno i can copy from one to the other but the original seems to remain in one of the above named albums. how on earth can i do this or is it not possible?? some of us have pics that we dont want showing up in captured or download due to kids or family looking thru them photos.
