A news item appeared on the Zdnet web site attracted me this week. That went on saying that Nokia has plans to release a Tablet PC in 2012 powered by Windows 8 concerning the current trends of the market.
Nokia’s rivals Samsung,Apple and Motorola has several types of Tablet PCs in the market already. In an interview with a French Magazine an official from Nokia revealed this.
“In June 2012, we will have a tablet that runs on Windows 8″, Paul Amsellem said in a telephone interview with the paper. –Zdnet
Nokia already produced a netbook with Windows ,and was quite successful in that too. Nokia seems to have a fluctuated market for the phones due to many reasons at the moment(transform from Symbian to Windows Phone ,etc),and may want to have a more stable position by offering a vast product range .
The expertise they have in handheld devices ,may let them offer a better device for the Tablet market ,What would you say ?
